Since their foundation in 1970 playbuses have been accounted for a holistic education in the extracurricular field, long before the discussion of the PISA study. Their program contains various activities based on playful pedagogics.

Playbuses transpose numereous cultural and social subjects suitable for children. In the past years, they have organized many projects in cooperation with different types of schools. Playbuses practice a playful, not a purpose-oriented learning.

On the occasion of the 40th playbus congress, the meaning of playful learning in scientific subjects will have to be discussed. The congress is addressed to all persons working with children and who are interested in a holistic, scientific and experience-oriented education. Playbus staff, pedagogical specialists, teachers, professors and other curious people are heartily welcome.
