Build bridges! Establish new contacts and nourish existing ones! If you are active in the popularization of science then participate in Science in the Med: Opportunities for Dialogue, a Contact Making Seminar organized by NSTF which will be held between the 13^th and 16^th November 2006 open for representatives of youth groups, youth workers, youth leaders and project leaders coming from Euro-Med countries!

The purpose of the event is to:

• encourage cross-border collaboration in the field of science with the purpose of coming up with YOUTH project proposals
• establish new contacts
• celebrate the positive applications of science

The Contact Making Seminar will include:

• Motivational talks
• Sharing of Best Practices
• Round Table Discussions with Maltese personalities involved in the popularization of sciences
• Fieldwork activities where participants to the CMS will be visiting on a regular basis Expo Science Med 2006, a parallel event organized by MILSET Med and Euro-Med Countries

Pariticipation Fees

EUR 50 per participant (this will automatically be reduced from travel expense refund)

Participation fees include board and lodging and participation in the Contact Making Seminar programme. Travel Expenses are not included.

We are aiming for YOUTH funding thus the members would just have to pay 30% of all travel costs (please see details below)

We are aiming to host up till 2 participants from a maximum of 20 countries thus the maximum number of participants is 40 participants!
