MILSET Newsletter - October/November 2011

Dear MILSET friends,
The International Movement for Leisure in Science and Technology, MILSET, has the honour to introduce the World Youth Chemistry Congress 2011 which will take place in Lima, Peru, from 15th to 18th November 2011.

MILSET hold the status of Non-Governmental Organization with operational relations with UNESCO. For this reason and joining the celebrations of the International Year of Chemistry, this event is being organized for all children and young people in the world.

MILSET has already had successful experiences in organizing youth congressess with the World Youth Congress on Knowledge and Information Society 2005 in Tunisia and the World Youth Congress on Climate Change 2010 in Mexico.

MILSET is grateful to the institutions supporting this event: The Chemical Society of Peru, Peruvian Board of Chemists, the Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrolllo (UNID), the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla - Mexico, The Associated Schools of UNESCO, Universidad Nacional Federico Villareal the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and, of course, the organizing institution the NGO Global Science and Technology Council and its President, Dr. Atilio Buendia, MILSET Secretary for Latin America.
