Dear MILSET friends: Nearly thirty years ago, MILSET established one of the largest and most well-known worldwide science and technology event for youth: the Expo-Sciences International (ESI). The first ESI was held in Canada in 1987 and since that date, every two years, MILSET, together with its members all around the world, has organized the event Expo-Sciences. We are already preparing for the 14th ESI in Brussels, Belgium in 2015! MILSET ESI is a non competitive science event that brings together students with their projects in the fields of innovation, research and science popularization, aiming to encourage interaction, networking, and global awareness. For the years between ESI events MILSET established Regional Expo-Sciences. This year students from around the world have the opportunity to participate in the Latin-American Expo-Sciences (ESI-AMLAT) from July 14-18 in Medellin, Colombia; Asia Expo-Sciences (ESAsia) from August 7-11 in Amman, Jordan; and Europe Expo-Sciences (ESE) from September 7-12 in Žilina Slovakia. Participating in a Regional Expo-Sciences event has great benefits for students and teachers - sharing experiences, science and research ideas, and establishing new contacts and friends! | MILSET Board meeting was successfully held from the 2nd to the 4th of May in Italy. Roberto Hidalgo (MILSET President), Antoine van Ruymbeke (MILSET EUROPE President) and María Angélica Riquelme (MILSET AMLAT Vice-President) went on a Mission to Fortaleza, Brazil to prepare ExpoSciences International ESI 2017.
