4th International Research School (IRS 2011)

The main goal of the event is to give schoolchildren from different counties and regions of Russia an opportunity to carry out express-projects in various fields of science and technology. The students work at the projects in international teams (the working language is English) and are supposed to complete their works within 5 days. Then the projects are presented to a committee of experts and other participants of the IRS. The original design of the projects is developed by trainers - young scientists from Russia and other countries - using modern methods of research. The IRS offers its participants interesting scientific and cultural programs. Delegation leaders have the opportunity to join the special workshop on psychology and teaching methods.

We invite delegations of about 6 people (1 adult supervisor for every 3 to 6 14-17 year old students) to take part in the International Research School. Participation fee is 350 $ per person. It includes accommodation, catering, transport, tours and other activities during the event.

We invite university students , postgraduates and young scientist to be trainers or assistant trainers at the International Research School. Participation for trainers is free. Their expences on accommodation, meals, local transportation and sightseeing programme will be covered by the organizers.
